Most reviewers were very happy with their purchase of the Blue Rhino GAD860SP LP Gas Outdoor Firebowl with Slate/Marble Mantel . Most stated the mantel was very beautiful and the burner provided plenty of radiant heat. They also remarked how easily the LP tank was hidden with the accompanying black bag.
However, most did complain about the difficulty involved in assembling the unit. Pieces didn’t slip in place easily and needed adjustments as the unit was being built. It has been indicated to not tighten down screws until everything is properly in place. There were a few comments about constructing it close to where it is going to be placed due to its heavy weight. Some indicated that it definitely took two people to move it. Once in place, most owners were pleased with the Blue Rhino GAD860SP.
There were only two detrimental reviews and one was over waiting for the product to arrive and not about the actual unit. The other reviewer was completely dissatisfied with the product. That reviewer was the only reviewer that felt adequate heat wasn’t being produced by the firebowl and suggested purchasing something different.
Overall, the vast majority of the reviewers gave four and five star marks for the gas outdoor firebowl.
